Baltimore and the Inner Harbor

Annapolis, MD - Home of the US Naval Academy

You can get to Annapolis via commuter bus on a weekday or Greyhound on the weekend. If you take Greyhound, be sure and take advantage of their companion fare. For many destinations, buying a ticket at least 3 days in advance gets you another adult ticket for the same trip free. This guide was written for Washington Seminar students touring Annapolis on foot.


Philadelphia

South Philly

Every semester, Washington Seminar students take a trip to Philadelphia. Morning is spent on a walking tour of the historic district. Afternoon may be spent where you like. This guide may help in planning your afternoon. It was written specifically for Washington Seminar students who will be sightseeing on foot.

Gray Line Tours offer package tours of many interesting attractions in the DC/Virginia area, including Monticello, Gettysburg, Mt. Vernon, Williamsburg, and others. Packages include transportation.
